Questions about passport photos

Is it really free?

Yes: no account, no watermark, no "pay to download". The ads on this page keep it running. A photo booth charges €10-15 for the same thing.

Will my photo actually be accepted?

We apply the official size and head-position rules per country and show you the measurements, but acceptance is always up to the issuing authority — lighting, expression and glasses matter too. Follow the on-photo warnings and the checklist in the result.

What happens to my photo?

It's processed on our own server and deleted automatically: the upload right after processing, the results within 45 minutes. Nothing is stored, shared or used for training. See the Privacy Policy.

How do I print it?

Download the 10×15 cm sheet and print it at any supermarket/drugstore photo kiosk or order a single 10×15 print online (~€0.15). Cut along the grey lines.

What makes a good source photo?

Stand facing the camera with a neutral expression, mouth closed, eyes open, no shadows on the face, hair away from the eyes. Have someone photograph you from ~1.5 m at chest height. Don't use a selfie at arm's length (it distorts).
